Kinkaid highlighted that Fusion Antibodies works with a diverse range of clients, from small VC-funded biotechs to large entities like the National Cancer Institute. The company is also exploring adjacent markets such as diagnostics, family medicine, and veterinary medicine.

Despite recent economic challenges, particularly a reduction in venture capital for biotech firms, Fusion Antibodies has strategically diversified and managed costs effectively. This approach resulted in a remarkable 47% increase in fourth-quarter 2024 sales compared to the first quarter, with a significantly stronger year-end order pipeline of £750,000, setting a solid foundation for future growth.

Notably, Fusion Antibodies secured a key collaboration with the National Cancer Institute to utilize their OptiMAL technology platform for human antibody discovery. This platform holds potential for multiple licensing opportunities due to its vast diversity.

Additionally, the company raised approximately £1.37 million to support growth initiatives, including expanding its commercial team to better penetrate its primary market in the USA.
